California's Decline is not rooted in this years bad legislative choices or the election of political representatives. Our problems are caused from years of poor education, apathetic voters, apathetic business owners, powerful public unions, agenda driven news media, but, most of all, elected officials that are not leaders but, takers.  Once elected by a gullible electorate they then turn to their progressive agenda driven by the public service unions and other organizations.  The prgressive agenda is responsible for our tax and spend policies and other agendas that have driven business and jobs out of state and placed California into a no win, disastrous, free falling economic Armageddon.

 In my opinion, there is only one way to change this direction, FIGHT BACK! I am a small business owner and have been for many years.  I know the above to be true because I am one of you.  I was born in California and instead of leaving the state I have chosen to fight!  I have begun by starting “California Small Business Talk Radio” airing live on 1380 KTKZ every Saturday morning from 9-10 am.  The next step is the “California Small Business Coalition”.  The goal of this organization is to change California to a more business and employee friendly state creating jobs and attracting business to California. The coalition is not “Just another organization” it is very different.

So much change in such a short time. You support those that support Democracy! Honduras was about to experience the same fate as Venezuela and Nicaragua; however, the Supreme Court and congress ask the military to step in to support their constitution. Why are power hungry, tinhorn dictators all of a sudden emboldened to thwart or change their constitution to benefit themselves? They see Obama either as weak or as one of them. I believe the later based on his support of the ousted would be dictator and friend of Chavez, Castro and Ortega. I see Socialist hands all over this move. The Socialist in south America are moving to consolidate a power base before a new president takes office in the U.S. I also, believe that Chavez and Ortega will make a move towards Honduras. What will Obama do? I believe he will support the Socialist movement in South America and around the world. He is meddling in Honduras in support of a Chavez wannabe. At least the Honduran Supreme Court and congress read between the lines and did not like what they saw coming, unlike many in the United States. 

I must still be asleep and in the middle of a nightmare.  Politicians are still conniving on how to raise taxes and increase revenue? They need to spend more time on how to cut waste, cut the size of government, renegotiate union contract, get rid of or decrease salaries substantially of all K-12 and college administrators, Cut upper income government workers salaries at a much higher percentage than lower income workers.  The flawed theory in California is that the rich and higher income brackets should pay more taxes, right?  Well, how about starting at the top government pay scale and reduce their salary.  Lets start with anyone earning over $200,000 takes a 30% cut.  Between 150,000 and 200,000 25%, 100,000 -150,000 20%, 75,000 - 100,000 15%, GET  THE PICTURE? Now, how about those unions, most contracts I believe are up for renewal, re-negotiate now.  Hiring freeze for three years and fill positions from within.  Cut corp. taxes and give incentives to small business, make California attractive to business, create jobs!!!  Place on hold all environmental dictates that impact jobs, such as water, air etc. until the state can afford the changes. There is a good reason for the financial meltdown we are experiencing.  Legislators who do not take running the state seriously, they see the tax payers and business as their own private piggy bank for their personal feel good agenda's. I have a message "Grow up, join reality, and lead. There is one quick way to approve a budget.  The States income is approx. 1998 level, so adopt a budget close to that year.  Spend more time on solving the spending crisis and less on how to increase revenue by continuing your same tax and spend ways that got us here in the first place.  Oh, and stop lying and twisting facts to protect your contributors and pet projects.  The states future is at stake and it is time for you to step up to the plate and do what is best for the long term future of California.  There is much that can be done without raising revenue.  Legislators need to leave their progressive agenda (Read up on this and you will understand why legislators do what they do) behind and adopt rational thinking. Come up with a legitimate budget plan. Listen to Mark Montgomery on Sat. 9-10 am 1380 KTKZ  "California Small Business Talk Radio"

What if the Obama administration lowers our quality of life, weakens our military, slows our progress in space, places our economy under world supervision, opens our borders, bows to Islam, travels the world talking down American values and the good we do in the world  and  throws our future generations into servitude to pay off debt.  Will we then be liked and appreciated by the rest of the world.  If we are lowered to the standards of the rest of the world will we then be accepted as one of them.  Is this the agenda?  It seems so, and when is the population going to catch on to this?  Are we going to wake up in the morning and realize that we now are on par with China and Russia.  I grew up believing America was exceptional, I do not want to live in a nation that above everything else wants to be accepted by the world.  The world be damned, I love America the way it was, exceptional and free.

Where is the outrage as to what is happening in this country.  You may not agree with Big business but you should agree even less with Big government! Why didn't just one of those CEO's up before congress stand up and walk out of the hearings in protest? Is the American public asleep? If they do not see the danger and have a willingness to act, who will? Government is out of control!  The risk takers that built this country should be looking in the mirror and realizing that the movement taking place in this country must be countered. What is happening is larger than any of us.  We must look inward and realize that we are in a war and it is larger than thy self.  A message must be sent to Washington that unless you  back off tens of thousands of businesses will close their doors, the flow of money must be cut off to counter this insane policy..  Business is under attack on national and state levels.  Business is made out to be the bad guy while government is saying "I will save you" as they lead the country down a path too socialism and away from capitalism.  Since big business will not stand up, will small business have the guts to do what it has to do? STRIKE!!

My first reaction to the death of Natasha Richardson was something was amiss.  This was a tragedy for Liam Neeson and family and my heart goes out to the family.  My next thought was, this accident took place in Canada and did their health care system play a part in her death. Then I heard medical experts on television expressing their views that head trauma such as this could be managed in such a way that her life might have been saved. Naturally these doctors were not there, however, this fit in with my curiosity regarding the question, did the Canadian play a part in delaying her treatment. I hope that an investigation will bring out the facts.  Did the Canadian system mandate a "Cost Analysis"? and thereby cost Natasha her life?  Is this a question we should be asking ourselves regarding government intervention in our health care programs.  Does the oversight dictated by the stimulus plan take us down this road?  Wake up folks, the question is not how much money we are spending, this is obvious, it is the hidden agenda that should see the light of day.  What you are not seeing, through deception, smoke and mirrors, misinformation and lies on which you should be focused.  Read and listen between the lines, this is where the truth lies.  Words mean nothing, actions speak volumes.

Huge mistakes with tax payer money regarding bailouts will cost the American public Billions. However, I have come to believe that perhaps the Obama Administration doesn't care about mistakes, oversight of the money is not part of the plan, it is in fact only a distraction to the administration.  The focus is the TAKE OVER AND CONTROL OF THE UNITED STATES!!!!!! By causing the American public to look to the government for answers and at the same time weakening the private sector along with demonizing and creating mistrust the Obama administration is causing some of the very forces that created Hugo Chavez and Hitler.  Is the American public so blinded by the glitz of a celebrity that they will give away their first born?  The Obama administration has nothing to do with what is best for America.  Where is congress?  What has happened to checks and balances?

Now is your chance to air your thoughts.  I will be on the air beginning April 4th at 8:30 am on KTKZ -AM.  After moving into what I thought would be a benign, logical hoa governed community all I wanted to do was move out!  I decided to fight when I saw what my neighbors were going through.  I learned a great deal about how to change an HOA and I will share this with our audience.  We are creating a website where the public can ask questions or express their pros and cons for living in an HOA.  We will strive to make this a balanced show, as we do feel HOA's can be of great benifit if not abused.  The website (HOATALKRADIO.COM) will be up in about a week and will grow as the program grows.  Let me know how you feel and participate if you can. Dangerous and unprecedented power over the free market is being sought by politicians on the left.  I would go so far as to say we are crossing the line between socialism and communism.  I have said before, Obama is a Marxist and his moves are proving me out. " Don't let a good crisis go to waste" is the rallying cry from this administration and they are moving with incredible speed toward their objectives, punish and destroy capitalism.  This will be very hard to unravel in the coming years and must be stopped now!! Obama is smart in the wrong way for this country and he is manipulated by the very people that orchestrated his election.  Just read the newspapers or watch the news, does this administration sound familiar, or something foreign such as Venezuela.  Folks we are in for a fight, the very soul of our heritage is at stake. The Obama administration now wants the ability to take over any private company they deem to be in trouble. They want to control pay scales and bonuses for any company publicly held. Do you really believe it will stop their.  This sounds like Hugo Chavez and incremental ism.   Since when is the government capable of such decisions.  They caused and do cause the root of most trouble with their ignorance with bad legislation.  They no longer understand why we have a free market, they have lost their way.  Wake up !! they are attempting to change the entire capitalist system. With all it's shortcomings capitalism is the best system in the world if you want innovation, growth and freedom to pursue your dreams.  Soon the government will be telling us what jobs we will hold in the future, where we are to live (due to the environment etc.), what types of businesses we can create.  We are becoming the very country we defeated in the cold war.  China is less restrictive than we are becoming.  Write, call and yell at your congressman to get off the glue and see the reality of what is happening.  Do you believe this is all about large company bonuses?  Your next!

Does this make sense? Government works for the people. If people cannot or will not pay the taxes imposed, government will cease to function and collapse. Are we close to this happening in California? How does government generate income to make payroll?  The answer would be through taxation.  If sufficient tax revenues are not generated then how does government generate capital.  It doesn't! The point I am attempting to make is government and government workers need to come to the realization that if you do not have a strong business climate you are limited in your ability to run government.  Raising taxes will generate less revenue not more. They are saying even now that the revenue projections are wrong and the deficit is growing. Surprise? not if you own a business! Only a politician in Sacramento with his/her head in the sand would believe their plan was sound. Do they really believe the voters will vote the huge tax increases?  Even now Sacramento is planting the seeds for the next recession. Government is lying to the people and itself, Arnolds gleaming city by the sea is tarnished and crumbling due to the weight of government over spending. Sacramento is already planning more spending when in fact nothing has been done to alleviate the cause of the current deficits. Private enterprise in California and now the nation has lost the ability to grow and is collapsing because government does not understand its place in the larger picture. Government, in the united states, is based on a solid, robust economy generated by private enterprise, not government enterprise.  California will continue to collapse economically until the realization of this rudimentary fact finally is realized in Sacramento.   Government must do what is necessary to revive a positive business climate or huge government layoffs will eventually be necessary.  As of today they still do not get it!  Major changes must come to California in the form of across the board cuts and reduction in taxes, not increases.  Government works for the people and cannot offer services unless businesses are capable of paying the taxes.  More money in the pockets of private enterprise and workers will revive the economy not the reverse of this concept.  It is the Sacramento politicians that need to go back to basic capitalism math class.  Business needs to wake up and take decisive action or California will fall into the sea economically speaking. Government is the problem!!

Washington politicians are afraid to soften language on the bonus pay bill.  They might have a backlash from constituents. Are they so afraid of keeping their jobs for life that they will not do the right thing for the country? The answer is of course, YES! It is their, lets just all get along attitude and fear of not receiving their donations for another run that has disabled this country.  I don't like the bonus pay for AIG, but, we only know what the media and the politicians are telling us. This country is based on incentives and reaching for the stars, yet we are playing right into the hands of the socialist/Marxist.  If I were with a financial company or any other company I would seriously think of moving to China.  They are far more business friendly than this country and have been for some time. Why do you think our jobs and companies are going over seas? Check out their GDP compared to the United States.  Folks we are heading down a very slippery steep slope at high speed.  Do you really believe that Politicians are smarter than you?  The only thing they seriously know how to do is get votes and little else concerning how this country works from the bottom up.  Wise up fast or this is going to be one painful lesson in life!  I have already had mine and I don't look forward to a lesson meant for the under 40 crowd.

There appears to be many smiling faces in Sacramento these days regarding the California budget.  All appears to be fixed ! If I were the politicians I would be hammering out plan B now. If all the the pieces of this mirage don't come together the people are going to be asking about the fall back plan.  Personally I don't believe the voters are going to go with tax increases, regardless of what Sacramento is saying. If the economy continues to worsen people are going to vote their pocket book. Even the bay area and Los Angeles deep down have to realize sooner or later higher taxes and more spending cannot work.  My understanding is that California's government is still growing!  Sacramento had better hunker down now or they will again be in a panic, and we all should know what happens when legislation is written under stress.   Wake up Sacramento!
